The 10-point AI search checklist for small businesses
Short answer
Check these ten things on your own website. Each one you can tick makes it easier for Google and AI assistants to understand, trust and recommend your business.
The checklist
- Your headline says what you do and where. A stranger can tell in five seconds.
- Every service has its own page, with its own title and description.
- The towns you cover are named, with a page for the main ones.
- Prices or price ranges are published.
- An FAQ answers your customers’ real questions, with the answer in the first sentence.
- Your facts match everywhere: name, address, phone, years in business, accreditations.
- Real reviews are on the site and on your Google Business Profile.
- The people behind the business are named, with their qualifications.
- Structured data describes your business (check it with Google’s Rich Results Test).
- Every button works, and the main one leads straight to a booking, quote or call.
